Call for Papers on Disability

Call for Papers: Disability and Nineteenth-Century Prospects

There is a call for participants for a panel on disability and nineteenth-century American culture at the 2012 C19 conference in Berkeley California. The theme of the conference is “Prospects: A New Century,” an the organisers are interested in papers “that explore how new critical approaches to disability transform our vision of the nineteenth century and/or how new experiences and conceptions of disability were brought into being during the period.” Submissions are welcomed from different fields.
